Super Eagles Roster Gathers in Uyo as 2026 World Cup Qualifiers Kick Off

The Super Eagles roster has begun assembling in Uyo for its training camp ahead of the crucial 2026 World Cup Qualifiers clash against Rwanda. A total of 15 players participated in the initial session on Tuesday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, marking the official start of preparations.
The team’s head coach, Eric Chelle, led the session as the players worked on drills and tactics. The squad is expected to be at full strength tomorrow, with eight more players scheduled to join the camp on Wednesday. Among the key players expected to arrive on Wednesday are goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare, Cyriel Dessers, Christantus Uche, and Raphael Onyedika.
The team will continue its intensive preparations with a second training session on Wednesday, gearing up for the matchday seven encounter in Uyo on Saturday.
