Nigerian comedian Emmanuel Ejekwu, globally known as Sabinus, has revealed the strong initial opposition he faced from his father over his decision to pursue a career in skit making. The comedian confessed that his father was so disappointed that he regretted funding his university education.

In a recent interview with VJ Adams, Sabinus explained that his father’s dream was for him to become a lawyer. After failing to secure admission to study Law, the aspiring comedian eventually settled for Linguistics and Communication Studies at the University of Port Harcourt (Uniport).
