Rapper Zlatan Ibile Reveals He Has Quit Smoking for Four Years
Nigerian rapper Temidayo Omoniyi, widely known by his stage name Zlatan Ibile, has revealed a significant personal change, announcing that he no longer engages in smoking.
Dependable NG reports that the ‘Zanku’ crooner disclosed this information during a recent interactive session with fans conducted via his Snapchat platform. Responding to a direct question from a fan who inquired whether he still smokes, Zlatan confirmed that he had quit the habit four years ago.
The rapper wrote, “A day can’t pass without someone asking me this question. Yes, I quit smoking 4 years ago. And I have no issues with smokers.” Zlatan Ibile now joins a growing list of prominent Nigerian musicians who have publicly announced that they have either successfully quit or are actively trying to quit smoking in recent times. This list includes industry figures such as Don Jazzy, Peruzzi, Tekno, and Kizz Daniel. The trend follows a high-profile pledge made by artist Davido in 2018, when he stated that he would be “quitting soon” after being inspired by Don Jazzy’s success story.
