Nigerian Senate Approves General Oluyede as New Chief of Defence Staff

The Nigerian Senate on Wednesday gave its final confirmation to General Olufemi Oluyede as the new Chief of Defence Staff, concluding the legislative screening process.

Dependable NG reports that General Oluyede, alongside the other newly appointed service chiefs, was present at the National Assembly for the screening session, arriving at the complex around 10:00 am escorted by several high-ranking military officials.
