Low Sales Force Burna Boy Tour Cancellation
Organizers have abruptly canceled two shows on Burna Boy’s “No Sign of Weakness” US tour, including tonight’s performance, after fans allegedly failed to purchase sufficient tickets. The scheduled concert at The Armory in Minneapolis for November 28, 2025, will not go ahead.
Ticketmaster officially announced the last-minute cancellation on its website late on Thursday. Along with the Minneapolis date, another concert scheduled for December 1, 2025, in Chicago has also been axed.
Although the tour organizers did not provide a specific reason for the sudden cancellations, the development arrives amid swirling public criticism directed at the Nigerian singer.
The controversy stems from a viral incident earlier this week in Colorado, where Burna Boy was filmed walking off stage after noticing a couple sleeping during his performance.
The viral video sparked widespread debate, which intensified after the singer addressed his critics during an Instagram live session. He stated bluntly that “he only wants supporters who buy his tickets and not fans.”
It was later reported by sympathetic sources that the woman who was seen sleeping during the Colorado performance was allegedly grieving a recent personal loss, further complicating the public perception of the artist’s response.
Burna Boy confirmed the cancellation himself on Friday morning by sharing a direct link on his Instagram story. The link directed followers to the ticketing website, which explicitly confirmed that both the Minneapolis and Chicago concerts had been canceled.
