The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun State has launched a public sensitization campaign, urging road users to discard the superstitious beliefs surrounding the Ember Months. The Sector Commander, Corps Commander Akinwunmi Fasakin, clarified that the increase in accidents during this period is not due to any mystery but to identifiable human and environmental factors.Addressing journalists at a monthly congress, Commander Fasakin argued against the long-held myth that September to December is a time of increased misfortune.
