Femi Fani-Kayode has moved to quell recent speculation, publicly denying reports that he is a candidate for the NFA chairman position. The former Aviation Minister described the claims as fake news, stating he has absolutely no interest in leading the Nigeria Football Association.In a direct and unequivocal statement on his verified social media accounts, Fani-Kayode dismissed the rumors, asserting that he has never been approached or nominated for the role. He went further, stating that even if he had been, he would have “respectfully declined.”The political figure also addressed a related rumor, clarifying that any stories suggesting he was in the running or had withdrawn in support of another candidate were entirely false and should be disregarded by the public.
