Enugu North Mourns Loss of Senator Okey Ezea

The political and social landscape of Enugu State has been plunged into mourning following the sudden death of Senator Okey Ezea, who until his passing, represented the Enugu North Senatorial District in the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Malachy Okey Onyechi, the member representing Nsukka West Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly, was among the first to express profound shock and sadness over the news. Onyechi described Senator Ezea’s passing as a major loss not just for the Nsukka Zone, but for the entire Enugu State, underscoring the significant void left by his absence.

Onyechi, referring to the late Senator by his traditional appellation, Nzeogwu (Ideke), lauded the deceased as a figure renowned for his principled leadership, courage, and unwavering commitment to justice and equity.
