BBNaija Star Phyna Sparks Chaos in Abuja Hotel Over Alleged N200,000 Debt Dispute

Former Big Brother Naija winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, widely known as Phyna, was reportedly involved in a dramatic and heated altercation at a hotel in Abuja on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, over an alleged N200,000 financial disagreement.

Dependable NG reports that the confrontation began in the early hours inside Phyna’s hotel room before spiralling into the public lobby, attracting widespread attention from the hotel’s guests and staff. Sources close to the incident claimed the dispute centred on an unsettled financial issue involving the N200,000 sum, which quickly escalated from a shouting match.

The argument reportedly intensified as neither party was willing to resolve the matter peacefully, leading to pushing and a chaotic scene within the premises. Eyewitness accounts further alleged that the situation deteriorated into a physical clash when others connected to the individuals involved joined the confrontation.

Due to the worsening disruption, security personnel and police officers were called to the scene. To restore order and disperse the growing crowd, the security team was eventually forced to use teargas.

The unfortunate incident comes shortly after the reality television star returned to the public eye following a brief hiatus to mourn the death of her sister, who tragically passed away in an accident involving a Dangote truck.
