APC Chieftain Igbokwe Reacts to Kanu’s Court Outburst, Claims IPOB Leader is Overrated
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has criticized the self-acclaimed leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, following his furious outburst during a court appearance on Friday.
Dependable NG reports that a video clip circulating online captured the IPOB leader reacting angrily to his continuous trial at the Federal High Court in Abuja. Kanu was reportedly heard making strong allegations against the presiding judge, claiming the judge was ignorant of Nigerian law and questioning the disrespect shown to the country’s constitution and a previous Supreme Court judgment. Kanu was quoted as furiously stating, “You have no idea what justice means, you don’t know what justice means,” while leveling insults at authorities he believes are plotting his conviction.
Reacting to the chaotic scene, Igbokwe took to his Facebook page to condemn Kanu’s behavior, suggesting it indicated that the IPOB leader is grossly overrated. According to the APC chieftain, the Biafra freedom fighter is “no longer sounding like a normal person.”
Igbokwe wrote, “This small boy’s behavior in the court today tells me that the center can no longer hold. The actor is overrated. Everything about him is overrated. He is no longer sounding like a normal person. The blood of thousands of people he killed are speaking.” Igbokwe’s harsh comments reflect a strong political opposition to Kanu and his continued agitation for self-determination.
