Adewale Ayuba Vows Legal Action, Denies ‘Baseless’ Divorce and Paternity Rumours

Veteran Nigerian Fuji music icon, Adewale Ayuba, has forcefully broken his silence regarding a malicious online report that alleged a divorce and a paternity dispute with his wife, Azuka Ego. The claim, published by a YouTube channel, sensationally suggested that the musician had ended his marriage after an alleged secret DNA test revealed infidelity and a dispute over his children’s parentage.
The Fuji maestro, through a statement issued by his management, Bonsue Fuji Entertainment, completely dismissed the sensational claims, branding the news as “baseless and malicious.” The statement, which Ayuba shared on his official Instagram page, unequivocally affirmed that he remains “happily married” to Azuka Ego, his wife of over thirty years, and that the paternity of their children has “never been questioned.”
The management further condemned the report as a “cheap, despicable attempt to embarrass Dr Ayuba’s family, malign his character, and bring his united family to public ridicule.” They emphasized the complete falsehood of the story, pointing out that the blogger’s claim that their marriage only lasted one year further exposes the fabrication. In a strong declaration, Ayuba personally vowed legal action against the responsible party, stating, “I will not allow my integrity to be attacked without consequences.” The statement concluded by assuring supporters that the family is “currently consulting with our lawyers to pursue all available legal remedies against the irresponsible individual.”
