Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho has successfully returned to training and has traveled with the Celtic squad for their decisive UEFA Europa League clash against Feyenoord on Thursday. His return offers a significant boost to the team’s European campaign.

Iheanacho participated in a full training session with his teammates on Wednesday. This marked his first session since he sustained a hamstring injury last month during a fixture against Sturm Graz.

The injury has forced the twenty-nine-year-old striker to miss Celtic’s last six competitive games across all competitions.

The Nigeria international is now poised to make his long-awaited first appearance under the club’s interim head coach, Martin O’Neill, pending a final fitness assessment.

Iheanacho joined the Scottish Premiership champions on a free transfer late in September, adding experience and depth to their attacking options.

Since his arrival, the versatile striker has demonstrated his impact by netting three goals in his eight appearances for Celtic, providing a decent return before his injury setback.
