Senator Nwoko Confirms Results for Wife Regina Daniels
Senator Ned Nwoko has stepped forward to confirm the authenticity of a highly controversial medical report that went viral, which suggested his wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, is struggling with severe substance abuse. The senator’s confirmation contradicts a recent statement issued by the hospital cited in the report.
The leaked document, which has been widely circulated across social media platforms, purportedly originated from Serenity Royale Hospital in Abuja. It indicated that the actress had been diagnosed with a substance use disorder and was placed on a home-based detox programme, commencing on September 24, 2025, prior to the recent reports of marital crisis. The report, sighted by journalists, was allegedly signed by the hospital management and the Head of Clinical Services, Adekunle Adesina.
However, Serenity Royale Hospital had issued a statement on Thursday categorically distancing itself from the document, asserting that it did not emanate from their facility. This denial created confusion and cast doubt on the report’s credibility.
In a move to set the record straight, Ned Nwoko, through a statement issued by his media team on Saturday, insisted that the viral reports are unequivocally genuine. The lawmaker offered a critical distinction regarding the hospital’s denial, explaining that the hospital management merely denied leaking or publishing the documents but “did not deny authoring the report.”
“A medical report concerning Regina Nwoko has been circulating online. The reports are genuine. The rehabilitation center only clarified that it did not publish or circulate the documents,” the statement read, adding that “They did not deny authoring the report; the concern is the leak itself.”
Senator Nwoko urged the public to review the full details of the document, as he believes they “explained the situation clearly and directly.” He further detailed the alarming findings within the reports, stating, “Both the toxicology report and the Serenity Hospital reports confirm the presence of the same substances, all at levels that pose serious health risks.” He then listed the specific substances reportedly found: “Marijuana, cocaine, morphine, opiates at extremely elevated levels and alcohol at a critically dangerous level.”
The confirmation from the influential lawmaker marks a dramatic turn in the unfolding marital and public health crisis surrounding the actress, shifting the public conversation from the legality of the leak to the serious health issues being faced.
