Imo Police Enforce Ban on ENTRACO and Related Task Forces

The Imo State Police Command has started enforcing the ban on all activities of the State Environmental Transformation Agency Commission (ENTRACO) and related task forces, as directed by Governor Hope Uzodinma.

Police spokesperson, DSP Henry Okoye, confirmed that the enforcement is fully underway, and all affected staff and allies must comply immediately. The Commissioner of Police, CP Aboki Danjuma, has instructed all Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and Tactical Commanders to ensure strict adherence to the directive.

The Command warned that anyone operating under the name of ENTRACO will be promptly arrested and prosecuted.

The police are also working closely with the State Government to investigate the activities of ENTRACO. DSP Okoye encouraged members of the public with credible information or complaints about misconduct, extortion, or abuse by the operatives to report directly to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) at the Police Headquarters in Owerri.

The Command assured the public that it remains committed to protecting lives and property, upholding the law, and maintaining public confidence during this enforcement period.
