The brother of popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, identified as Sammy, has reportedly been granted bail in the amount of N5 million after spending several days in detention following his arrest amidst the highly publicized marital crisis involving the actress and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Dependable NG reports that Sammy was reportedly granted bail on Monday, November 10, 2025, marking the end of his period of incarceration. The case gained public attention last week after Sammy was arrested in Lagos on the orders of Senator Nwoko over his alleged involvement in the messy breakup and subsequent divorce filing by Regina Daniels. The arrest was followed by his transfer to Abuja.

Further details reveal that Sammy had been remanded in Keffi Prison by a Dutse Magistrate Court on Thursday, November 6, before he was later transferred to Suleja Prison. His time in detention, which included allegations from his family that he was denied access to legal representation and family members, fueled public debate regarding the power dynamics surrounding the celebrity family feud.
