Operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command successfully took custody of a kidnap victim, Abdullahi Usman, a resident of Unguwan Abuja in Viniklang, Girei Local Government Area, who was discovered tied up and abandoned in the bush on Thursday.

Dependable NG reports that the rescue operation was launched following a distress call received from one Adamu Shugaba, who reported hearing sounds of someone groaning inside an uncompleted building at Jabbore, also in Viniklang. According to a statement released on Friday evening by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, Shugaba found the victim with his hands and legs tightly bound with a piece of cloth.
