Showroom Demolition: Ola of Lagos Promises ‘Bigger and Better’ Rebuild

Nigerian influencer and entrepreneur, Waris Olayinka Akinwande, popularly known as Ola of Lagos, has addressed the public following the demolition of his newly built car showroom, OOL Autos, by the Lagos State Government.

Dependable NG reports that the luxury car dealer maintained an incredibly upbeat and resilient attitude despite the major financial setback. He took to his Instagram story, assuring his vast following that he was already working on rebuilding a new space.

“New showroom coming soon… Bigger and better, Insha Allah. We’re still active! We existed long before our physical showroom, and we’ll continue to thrive,” he wrote, dismissing the idea that the demolition would halt his business.

Ola, who is celebrated for his motivational content, expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of support he received since the demolition on Saturday.

He reflected on his history of weathering challenges: “Omo, these calls and messages, thank you all so much. I’m good, I promise. I’m even smiling right now. I’ve been taking losses for a long time, losses that could easily buy me a bedroom apartment in Ikoyi. But man just reflects, smiles, thanks God, comes online to motivate others, shows love, and keeps going. All is well, haha,” he added.
